From April 10 to June 30, you can complete the Information Security Measures self-check and register for the emergency notification system.
Please be sure to complete them within the specified period.
If the deadline passes, your TCU account will be locked.
You will not be able to log in to various services, including WebClass, email, the university portal, and PCs in the computer labs.
The account will remain locked until you complete both the self-check and password change.
Please note that it may take up to one hour after completing the self-check for the lock to be lifted.
To confirm whether the self-check and password change have been successfully completed, please follow the instructions below.
1.Self-check: Information Security Measures
We have established the Information Security Measures to protect the information systems and user data on campus. You are required to complete a self-check to confirm that you understand and comply with these measures. As this is a very important check, please make sure to complete it by June 30.
If you do not complete the self-check by June 30, your password will become invalid, and you will not be able to use your TCU account.
Please be sure to complete the self-check and change your password before the deadline.
2.Emergency System Registration/Change/Confirmation
Emergency System Registration, change and confirmation of registration information
The Emergency System (Yahoo! Safety Confirmation Service) is a system through which the university will send emergency contact e-mails to students and the faculty in the case of a pandemic outbreak or the occurrence of a disaster. Please refer to the registration/change/confirmation manual and register or confirm the information from the following.
3.Password Change (For New Students and Users Who Have Not Changed Their Initial Password)
As part of our information security measures, all users of the university’s information systems are asked to change their initial password as soon as their account is issued.
If you have not yet changed your initial password, please do so by clicking the “Change Password” button below.
For more information about the importance of password security and how to manage your password, please refer to the Password Change/Reset page.
